Far East: Preschool Feeding Program

Pastor Lauro R. and Lorelie O. Delgado of Word of Truth Christian Ministries requested The Way: EMI to partner with them to establish a preschool feeding program in Montalban, Rizal Philippines. In January 2014, The Way: EMI agreed to provide financial resources to initiate the program.  Our mission is to improve the community by creating a coalition of domestic and international organizations, such as churches, businesses, civic organizations and foundations, working together to feed hungry children.

The church feeds the children to make sure they receive a good meal at least once a day and also give food to the destitute and needy in the community.   The children come from very poor families that earn less then $100 (US) per month. Currently we feed 1200 children weekly at the Word of Truth Christian Ministries on a daily basis. However, there are over 1,000 children that want to enroll in the feeding program but we cannot accommodate them all due to lack of funding. With your support and generous donations we can continue to provide meals for the children and expand our mission project to all eligible children at the church. When a child is hungry, it is difficult for them to focus on learning. Please donate today!
