We need you to “Partner with a Purpose” and help George to realize his vision of opening a community resource center for the at-risk youth. The land has been donated, the old house demolished and the labor will be donated by the GA Union. However, we need financial donations to begin construction.

YG Movement annual programs include: candlelight vigils, community cleanups, valentine and mother’s day nursing home gift distribution, thanksgiving food collection and distribution, back to school giveaways, feeding the homeless, and toy drives with distribution. Also, members attend art and history museums, take history tours, participate in art classes and many other fun and educational activities.  Click here to learn more information about YG Movement.

The Way: EMI was proud to partner with Louisiana native, Leslie Ferguson-Smart for “Pray for Louisiana” in an effort to provide assistance to Louisiana flood victims. Our volunteers solicited, gathered and sorted donations at the Flood Donation Headquarters in Stone Mountain, GA. The organization was also able to secure a donation from Publix for those in need.benefit-flyer4

All items were distributed on September 3, 2016 to people who were displaced and living with family members, friends, in hotels and those who have relocated. For many they must start their life over with nothing, and for some, this is their 2nd time losing everything after Hurricane Katrina.
